THE PROBLEM TAPSTOCK SOLVES

Running your table
shouldn’t mean
juggling your tools.

You’re talking to a buyer, pricing a trade, and keeping track of what’s still available—all at once.

When card details and deal records live in different places, every transaction adds more searching, mental math, and manual updates.

TapStock connects the physical card to the information and actions behind the deal.
01

The buyer is ready. Your details aren’t.

Finding the exact card, checking what you paid, and remembering your minimum can mean jumping between a spreadsheet, notes, and pricing tabs.

WITH TAPSTOCK

Keep card numbers, grades, costs, asking prices, and minimums in one record. An assigned NFC tag opens that card in your vendor workspace.

02

Every price question interrupts another deal.

Customers want to know your prices while you are helping someone else. Looking up each card in a collector app or spreadsheet slows the conversation.

WITH TAPSTOCK

Customers tap an assigned tag to see the card and your asking price. You keep costs, comps, and minimums close while your private business information stays private.

03

The deal is done. The admin isn’t.

A sold card can stay on your inventory list. Incoming trade cards need adding. Tags need releasing. Doing each step separately invites missed updates.

WITH TAPSTOCK

Record a sale or complete a trade. TapStock updates outgoing inventory and releases its tags; completed trades also add incoming cards and save the exchange in your ledger.

Find the balance.
Then make it official.

Search the customer’s cards, select yours from inventory, and set your trade percentage. The meter compares the offer to your target, including cash on either side.

When you agree, review and complete the exchange. TapStock updates your inventory and ledger together.

Try the Trade desk Example only. Selected values determine the comparison; the meter is not a prediction of resale profit.

Your workspace should, too.

BEFORE YOUR FIRST TAP

A few good
questions.

What works today, what you’ll need, and what to expect from the beta.

What problem does TapStock solve?

A busy table should not mean fumbling through collector apps, spreadsheets, and notes. TapStock brings your inventory, asking prices, cost basis, available comps, and ledger into one clean dashboard so you can find the right details and keep the deal moving.

How do I get started?

Create your account, add your inventory, activate your TapStock tags with your activation code, and link each tag to a card in your show inventory. Your table is ready for customers to tap.

Do I need to write or program NFC tags?

No. TapStock hardware comes prepared for activation. Activate your tags in your account and assign your cards. Writing or rewriting NFC chips is not part of the customer workflow.

What does a customer see when they tap?

Customers can view the assigned card’s details and your asking price on a compatible NFC-enabled phone without signing in. They can browse your table with fewer interruptions. Your costs, minimum prices, private notes, and ledger stay private.

Can I check comps without leaving my inventory?

Yes. View available TCGplayer and JustTCG pricing side by side, with CardSight comparisons for graded cards when available. Sources are labeled, and links to TCGplayer and eBay let you check the market yourself. Coverage varies by card; references help you decide, and you control your asking price.

Can I track my costs and profit?

Keep your cost basis alongside asking prices and comps, then review recorded sales and profit information in your dashboard and ledger. Accurate costs and transaction entries help you understand your margins; market estimates are not guaranteed sale prices.

What happens after a sale or trade?

Record the sale or complete the trade in TapStock. Outgoing cards leave available inventory, their tags are released, and the deal goes into your ledger. Completed trades also add incoming cards to inventory. Payments for card deals are handled separately.

Can I use the same tag for another card?

Yes. Once a tag is released, link it to another card in your inventory. You change the card assignment in TapStock; you do not need to rewrite the chip.

Does TapStock work on my phone?

Yes. Use TapStock on your phone or computer, or install it to your phone’s home screen. Internet access is required. Vendor accounts currently use ChatGPT sign-in; customers viewing an assigned card do not need an account.
